Trash, restore and undo
Anything you delete waits in Library › Trash for 30 days, and every editor can undo and redo your changes.
Mistakes are easy to put right: deleting moves things to Trash, and the editors keep a list of your changes to step back through.
Trash
Deleting an animation, deck, graphic, logo, idea, project, component set or chat moves it to Library › Trash. Trash lists everything deleted in the last 30 days, newest first, with the date it will be deleted for good.
- Restore puts it back where it was.
- Delete forever removes it now. This can't be undone.
- Empty trash deletes everything in Trash for good.
After 30 days, anything still in Trash is deleted for good automatically.
While something is in Trash
- It is gone from your lists and counts, and doesn't count toward your plan's limits.
- Its share link, embeds and public gallery entry stop working.
- Its versions, leads and view counts are kept, so restoring brings it back whole.
Deleting a project moves only the project. Everything in it stays in your Library.
In a team workspace, people with view-only access don't see Trash.
Undo and redo
Every editor (animations, decks, graphics and logos) keeps your recent changes:
- Cmd/Ctrl+Z undoes the last change.
- Shift+Cmd/Ctrl+Z, or Ctrl+Y on Windows and Linux, redoes it.
- The small undo and redo buttons in each editor's toolbar do the same.
Typing in one field, or dragging one colour, counts as a single step. While you are typing in a text box, Cmd/Ctrl+Z undoes your typing first. A change you accepted from the chat, or a version you restored, is one step. The chat itself is never undone. Up to 100 steps are kept, and what you undo is saved like any other edit.
For older changes, open Versions and restore an earlier version.
