Finding your way around the studio
What each place in the sidebar holds, from Home and Library to Publish, Settings and Developers.
The sidebar on the left holds a few places. You can collapse it to a narrow row of icons with the button at its top, and the studio remembers your choice.
The top of the sidebar
Beside the Programmable mark are a search button, which opens the command palette (see Keyboard shortcuts and search), and, when you are signed in to an account, the notifications bell (see Notifications).
The places
- Home: the chat where you make things. See Getting started with Home's chat.
- Library: everything you have made, with a tab for each kind: Animations, Decks, Graphics, Logos, Component sets and Templates, plus Trash for anything deleted in the last 30 days.
- Ideas: links, notes, images and pages you saved to make something from later.
- Brand: your brand kit (logo, colours, fonts and site style), which everything you make starts from.
- Publish: what happens after something is made, with tabs for Feeds, Analytics and Leads, and Scheduled when your workspace can post to connected accounts.
Below them you will find Projects, any jobs that are still running, and Recent chats. A Help row opens this help centre in a new tab.
+ New
The + New menu starts anything: an Animation, Deck, Graphics, Logo, Component set, something From a template, or an Idea. In a team workspace it can also invite a teammate.
Settings and Developers
Settings has tabs across the top: AI and models, Connections, Earn, Team, Billing, Usage and Account. Connections is where you get the Chrome extension and, if your workspace offers them, connect other services. Developers has API keys and Webhooks.
If a payment fails
If the last payment for your plan didn't go through, a short notice shows across the studio. Owners and admins see Update card, which opens Settings › Billing. See Billing, invoices and cancelling.
Every place has its own address
Each place and tab has its own link, such as /studio/library/decks or /studio/settings/billing, so reloading, going back, bookmarking or sending a link to a teammate opens the same place.
On a phone
On a small screen the sidebar becomes a bar along the bottom with Home, Chats, New, Library and More.
