Making and presenting a deck

Describe a deck, approve the outline, then edit slides, present with speaker notes, share or export.

A deck is a presentation with designed slides and, where motion helps, animated scenes.

Make one

On Home, ask for a deck, or choose + New › Deck. Describe what it is about, and give it something to work from if you like: a link, pasted notes or a transcript, or a file (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, text, Markdown or CSV).

The studio drafts an outline first: layouts, speaker notes and which moments deserve animation. Review it and choose Approve to build the deck.

Edit slides

Open the deck from Library › Decks. You can change each slide's type (a designed graphic, an animated scene, or text with an animation), its text, images, background and transition, reorder or delete slides, and write speaker notes. Slide checks look for low contrast, tiny text, overlaps and clipping on every slide.

You can also change the deck by chat, such as "add a pricing slide after this one" or "tighten the speaker notes". Earlier versions are under Versions. Cmd/Ctrl+Z undoes an edit, and Duplicate makes a copy of the whole deck and opens it.

The Comments tab holds notes and feedback pinned to a slide. See Comments.

Present

Press Present to open the deck full screen. Use the arrow keys to move through slides and builds. Open Presenter view to see your notes, the next slide and a timer. Speaker notes are never shown to the audience.

Share

Share this deck creates a link anyone can watch, plus an embed for your site. Speaker notes stay private, the link always shows the latest saved version, and you can revoke it at any time. The dialog shows how many times the link has been viewed.

Tick Ask for an email after the last slide to show a sign-up card at the end. Sign-ups land in Publish › Leads under the deck's title. See Collecting emails.

In a team workspace with approvals on, the link shows only the approved version. See Approvals before publishing.

Export

  • PDF: one page per slide, every build shown. Animated slides appear as a poster frame.
  • MP4 video: the deck plays itself, builds and scenes included. Rendering takes about as long as the video.
  • PowerPoint: editable slides with your text, tables, charts, speaker notes, footer and logo in the deck's colours and fonts. Animated slides appear as a still.
  • JSON backup: the deck's slides, notes and theme.
