Approvals before publishing

Require an owner or admin to approve a version of an animation, deck, graphic or logo before its share link, embeds and the gallery show it.

In a team workspace you can make sure nothing goes public until an owner or admin has approved it. Approvals cover animations, decks, graphics and logos.

Turn approvals on

Owners and admins go to Settings › Team and turn on Require approval before anything is published. From then on, share links, embeds and the public gallery show only a version an owner or admin approved. Edits stay private until they are approved again.

Ask for approval

Editors see an approval bar in the editor: under the animation in its chat, or in the deck, graphic or logo editor. Choose Request approval, add a note for the approver if you like, and send. The bar shows Waiting for approval with who asked.

Owners and admins get a notification in the bell, marked as waiting on them. See Notifications.

Approve or send back

Owners and admins see everything waiting at the top of Settings › Team under Waiting for approval, with a Review link. On the item:

  • Approve this version publishes it to share links and embeds.
  • Request changes sends it back with a note saying what should change.

The person who asked is notified either way.

After an edit

When an approved item is edited, the bar says so. Share links and embeds keep showing the approved version until the new one is approved.
