Logo and brand pack that feeds everything else

Give Programmable a brand name and it designs six logo concepts for you to refine, then packs SVGs, PNGs, favicons and app icons into one zip. **Use as my brand logo** puts it in your brand kit, so your graphics, decks and animations start from it.

Who this is for

This suits a new product or side project that needs a usable logo today, along with everything else a launch needs. It also suits a team that already has a logo and wants a tidy file pack and a brand kit that carries through its work.

The value is in the link to other work. If a logo is all you'll ever need from this, a one-off purchase is likely to be cheaper. There's more on that below.

What you start from

  • A brand name, plus an optional tagline, a line about the brand, and the feel you want.
  • Your brand kit colours, if you tick Keep to the colours in your brand kit. Otherwise the designer picks.
  • Your existing logo, with Start from my logo under Library › Logos. Upload an SVG, PNG, JPEG or WebP. A plain SVG made of shapes becomes a mark you can recolour, and anything else is kept as your picture.
  • Nothing, with Start blank, for one empty logo you build yourself.

What happens, step by step

  1. On Home, ask for a logo, or choose + New › Logo, and fill in the details.
  2. You get six concepts. Remove the ones you don't want.
  3. Open one to edit its layout, letters, shape, colours and highlight directly.
  4. Or change it by chat: "make the name bolder", "try other colours", "put the mark above the name". You see the before and after, and choose whether to keep it.
  5. Check How it looks in use, which shows the logo as an app icon, in a browser tab and on a dark background.
  6. Press Use as my brand logo to put it in your brand kit.
  7. Choose Download the brand pack.

Look at the small sizes before you decide. A logo with fine detail often fails at favicon size, and the app icon preview is the quickest way to spot that. Designing a logo has the full walk-through.

What you get

FolderContentsUse
svgThe logo, the mark alone and the name alone, each in color, reverse, black and white versionsAnywhere it needs to scale. Lettering is converted to outlines, so no fonts are needed
pngFull logo at 1200 and 2400 px wide, transparent, plus the mark at 1024 pxDocs, slides and email
iconsfavicon.ico (16, 32, 48), favicon.svg, apple-touch-icon (180), icon-192, icon-512 and a 400 px profile pictureWebsites, phones and social profiles

The mark files depend on the concept having a mark, so a pure wordmark won't include them. The pack also includes install notes for your website. You can publish a share page showing the logo on light and dark, with its colours and type. Read the files in a logo pack to see what each one is for.

The pack doesn't include EPS files, business cards or print templates.

How it feeds your other work

Once it's in your brand kit, new work starts from it. A graphic has your logo and colours, a deck carries them, and an animation is built in your brand. For a client or sub-brand, give a project its own brand so the two don't mix. See Projects.

What it costs

Six concepts count as one design call, shown as 1 credit and settled to the AI used. Each refine round of four variations is another. Direct edits and downloads use no credits. Start from my logo and Start blank don't use AI at all, so they use no credits.

The trial includes 120 credits with no card, which is enough to try this. There's no separate logo price, so after the trial you're paying for a plan: Starter is $29 a month ($290 a year) with 350 credits. Pricing has all the plans.

When another route is better

  • You only need a logo, once. Brandmark sells logos for a one-time $35, $95 or $195. A monthly plan only makes sense if you'll use it for demos, graphics or decks.
  • You need a trademark. We do no trademark checks. Search your country's register, and speak to a lawyer before you invest in a name or mark.
  • You need a full identity. A designer brings research, strategy, and a judgement about your market that six AI concepts can't replace.
  • A printer asks for EPS. Ask whether the SVG will do, since it's vector too. Otherwise, convert it in a vector editor.

A brief you can paste

This uses a made-up brand. You can paste it into Home's chat, or start from a link such as /studio?make=logo&name=Acme%20Invoices&styles=minimal,geometric, which shows a card first and runs only when you confirm.

"A logo for Acme Invoices, an invoicing app for freelancers. The tagline is: Get paid without the admin. It should feel calm, trustworthy and a little warm, not corporate. Try a simple mark based on a folded page or a tick that also works at favicon size. Keep to the colours in my brand kit. Avoid dollar signs, coins and generic checkmarks."

Common questions

Can I change my logo later without redoing everything?

Yes. Open the logo, change it, and press Use as my brand logo again, and new work will start from the update. Files you've already exported don't change.

What happens to my files if I cancel?

Files you've downloaded stay on your computer. Download the brand pack before you cancel so you have it. Deleting a logo moves it to Trash for 30 days and doesn't affect downloaded files.

Does it check that nobody else has this logo?

No. There's no trademark or similarity check, so do your own search before you print or register anything.
