The Programmable CLI
Add marketplace components to your project from the command line with npx programmable-cli.
The Programmable CLI adds animated React components from the marketplace to your project, the way npx shadcn add works.
Log in once
Create a key under Developers › API keys, with Published animations ticked (the default), then run:
npx programmable-cli login --key pgm_…
You can also set the key in the PROGRAMMABLE_API_KEY environment variable.
Browse and add
npx programmable-cli list --q chartsearches the catalog.npx programmable-cli add bar-chartwritescomponents/programmable/BarChart.tsx.
Then install the libraries the components use:
npm install motion lucide-react clsx tailwind-merge
Options
--dirchooses the folder (the default iscomponents/programmable).--forceoverwrites an existing file.
What you get
Each component is a single .tsx file (React, Tailwind and Motion) with a named and a default export, exactly what the marketplace's download button gives you.
Downloads and licence
Downloads count toward your plan's monthly allowance; adding the same component again in the same month doesn't count twice. Over the limit, the CLI says so and links to upgrade.
You can use downloaded components in your own sites and products. Please don't resell or redistribute them as a component library.
